Only in Portland moment? Not sure why this is coming to mind, but we had a holiday party that was seriously snowed out. Nobody could drive (not even our burly East Coast and Northern Country buddies). But we have so many friends within walking distance that the house party was huge. There was a moment while changed the album on our record player stashed in the snow, when I looked around the huge bonfire with all the glowing faces. All the families. It felt very Portland and very home.
A favorite local business? I’ve got a crush on too many to count.

If you could change one thing about Portland, what would it be? Education. While I love devoting my time to helping the local economy, I’m so thankful for the folks throwing down meaningful work in the education sector. Living in a working class neighborhood, there’s alot of individuals working their buns off but the system seems broken. We’re handing the next generation a pretty gnarley scene, it’d be great to raise ‘em right.
And finally, where can we find you on the web? supportland.com and @supportland on Twitter and FB. Oh, and LinkedIn too.
