What do you create? Creating possibilities consciously
How did you land in Portland? I just kept hearing things about this amazing city called Portland when I was living in New York and I said.. I have to see if this is true. I came out for my birthday week in 1997 and knew right away that I wanted to move here. It took a year but I have never left.
What is the last book you read? Overcoming Trauma Through Yoga
Name your favorite tattoo. Well of course I have to say mine which is a clematis vine going from my shoulders to waist, but there are so many amazing ones out there and such artists that I would go with a piece Peter Archer did for my friend Yvette. It is so amazing that I can’t even describe it with due service.
What was the last thing you ate at a food cart? I do not eat at food carts much but when I do I usually go for the Thai.
Oregonian, Willamette Week, or Mercury? Mercury
What is your favorite bridge and why? I cross the Fremont almost every day and have to say it is amazing every time to see the view.
Stumptown Coffee or _________? Love coffee and tend to go to Extracto but tea is my choice usually and Townshend’s is an obsession. I love their many chai’s but the roasted coconut mate is super yummy.
Coast or Mountains? Can’t choose, I love them both so much. Just different driving distances.
Only in Portland moment? I was walking in my neighborhood and saw a mother and her little boy walking their goat. Only in Portland.
A favorite local business? Bye and Bye
Are you a car person or a bike person? Both, though I drive all over our 4 quadrants of town so much in a day that the car is mostly where I end up. Riding my bike across the bridges in the summer is a favorite pastime though.
If you could change one thing about Portland, what would it be? If I could change anything about Portland I would not live here. Though I do wish people would drive better and stop daydreaming.. from an east coast driver here..
