What do you create? Whatever pops into my head that day. I like to create using repurposed materials a lot, so I’m always finding new little bits to be inspired by.
How did you land in Portland? I moved up here the day after I graduated from school in Corvallis to start an internship the following day and haven’t looked back.
What is the last book you read? Tim Gunn: A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style
Name your favorite tattoo. My boyfriend’s Quick Brown Fox tattoo (he’s a typographer). I also just saw a coworker’s tattoo that she confessed was the antler stamp from the Doug Fir because she liked it so much!
What was the last thing you ate at a food cart? A delicious grilled cheese from Grilled Cheese Grill (swoon).
Oregonian, Willamette Week, or Mercury? I read the New York Times religiously every Sunday.
What is your favorite bridge and why? The Fremont Bridge, it somehow always has a rainbow next to it, even without the rain.

Coast or Mountains? Mountains
Only in Portland moment? Standing out in front of a bar waiting for a friend and hearing the bicyclists that just rode up complain there wasn’t any “parking.”
A favorite local business? Beauty Bar for their selection of nail color, as well as Canoe for just about anything.
Are you a car person or a bike person? Car person, I’m not brave enough to be a full-time bike person, even in Portland!
If you could change one thing about Portland, what would it be? That there was a great soup shop somewhere open for rainy day lunches! We’ve had such a hard time finding one…
